About the role
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Help patients improve daily living skills (e.g., dressing, eating, writing)
- Treat patients with conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, stroke, or injuries
- Use therapeutic activities and exercises
- Recommend assistive devices and environmental modifications
- Monitor patient progress and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and caregivers
