About the role
Strong hand-on experience in Redhat Openshift platform administration including installation, configure, upgrade & maintain OCP clusters. Strong on RHEL 8/9 – node build, kernel tuning, SELinux, patching, and OCP-on-RHEL lifecycle management.
Manage Control & Worker nodes, manage Openshift operators, capacity tuning, perform Backup & Disaster Recovery activities (DR drill), troubleshoot critical infrastructure related issues.
Support application deployment, manage quota/resource allocation, work with development team to optimize containerized applications.
Configure & maintain OCP monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK. Automate deployment process by Ansible or Python. Use of Jenkins/Gitlab CI-CD pipeline.
Implement RBAC, manage users/groups/service accounts etc., configure secrets, certificates, security scanning, ensure compliance as per organizational best security standards. Qualifications: BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING
