About the role
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of OpenStack architecture and service interactions.
- Experience working with OpenStack source code (not just deploying OpenStack).
- Hands-on experience (customization, forked implementations, etc. ) with at least one of the below components: Nova (compute), Neutron (networking), Cinder (block storage), and Glance (image services).
- Knowledge of OpenStack APIs, Oslo libraries, and internal workflows.
- Python (primary language for OpenStack services), REST API design and consumption, Linux networking fundamentals, Process management, logging, troubleshooting, Package management and build systems.
- Proven experience working with customized or forked OpenStack implementations.
- Experience in edge cloud would be an added advantage.
