Designboxed Innovation is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day execution of ground operations for political election campaigns.
The individual will be responsible for coordinating field teams, managing manpower and logistics, monitoring campaign activities, controlling operational expenses, and ensuring timely execution of assigned deliverables. The role will also involve close coordination with internal digital, social media, research, and strategy teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Ground Operations: Plan, coordinate, and monitor on-ground campaign activities, ensuring timely execution of assigned tasks and deliverables.* Team Management: Coordinate field executives and campaign personnel, monitor attendance and productivity, and ensure accountability.* Logistics and Vendors: Manage manpower deployment, transportation, accommodation, campaign materials, vendor coordination, and other operational requirements.* Execution Monitoring: Conduct field visits, track progress, identify operational gaps, and resolve execution-related challenges.* Reporting and Budgeting: Maintain operational trackers, daily reports, expense statements, and resource utilization records.* Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with digital, social media, research, creative, and strategy teams to ensure smooth execution of campaign activities.* Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable election regulations, approved budgets, internal processes, and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.* 4–7 years of relevant experience in operations, field execution, project management, or political campaign management.* Prior experience with political consulting firms, election management companies, or large-scale field operations will be preferred.* Proven ability to manage field teams, vendors, logistics, and multiple activities simultaneously.* Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operational reporting.* Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and execution skills.* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during election campaigns.
