About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle, PL/SQL, and Pro*C.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and database objects.
- Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments using DevOps tools.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Oracle Database
- PL/SQL Development
- Pro*C Programming
- Strong understanding of SQL optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience in developing packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, or other CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of shell scripting.
- Experience in application support and production environments.
