Performance Test Engineer

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with 4.5+ years of hands-on experience in performance and load testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring application scalability and reliability using industry-standard performance testing tools.

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Neoload to create and run test scripts.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Define performance testing KPIs and establish performance benchmarks.
• Participate in capacity planning and production readiness reviews.
• Automate performance test scenarios and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

• 4.5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neoload.
• Good understanding of HTTP/S, REST APIs, databases, and application servers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Strong skills in performance analysis, tuning, and root cause diagnosis.
• Proficient in scripting (Shell, Python, or Java is a plus).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven.
• ISTQB or performance testing certifications.
• Exposure to service virtualization tools.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
