About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Develop and maintain robust performance test scripts and frameworks.
- Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on performance strategy and system design.
- Contribute to resilience and chaos engineering initiatives.
- Drive performance engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling + Karate.
- We are also open to profiles with strong Gatling expertise.
- Expert-level scripting/programming experience in Java and JavaScript is mandatory.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD integration.
- Experience integrating performance testing into automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of architecture, performance strategy, execution, and system design thinking.
- Experience with chaos engineering tools and practices, including Chaos Monkey and Gremlin.
- Deep understanding of software and hardware SDLC dimensions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
- Experience in leading performance engineering initiatives and driving performance improvements across applications and systems.
