Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Perl Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Perl-based applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Perl-based applications and systems
- Write efficient, scalable, and well-documented Perl code
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Perl applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Perl applications with other systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Perl technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Perl development
- Strong knowledge of Perl programming language and its ecosystem
- Experience with Perl frameworks such as Catalyst, Mojolicious, or Dancer
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Certification in Perl programming or related technologies
