ØAnswer the basic queries of the patient coming for collection regarding the reports and should be able to guide the patient appropriately.

ØDo basic data entries of the samples in the lab.

ØFollow instructions given to then by the doctors/technicians/customer care.

ØAnswer the phone calls as and when required at the reception desk.

ØMaintain the required patient’s records in soft and hard copies.

ØExpect to work with a large number of patients varying in age and health status.

ØTransport all specimen samples safely in case of home collection to the laboratory.

ØKeep the phlebotomy cart / kit or station well-organized at all times.

ØPractice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment.

ØCentrifuge blood samples, as and when required to assist the technicians working in the lab.

ØArrange the Vacutainers on the work bench before and after the investigation process is over.

ØHelp in locating the desired sample from the preserved sample as and when required.

ØIn case of absence of the customer-care executive attend answer the phone calls.

ØInvolvement as per designated role in accreditationactivities
