Role Summary:
The Plant Head / Production Head will be responsible for end-to-end plant operations, profitability, productivity, safety, quality and people management for PEB and fabrication manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete plant operations including Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, Logistics and HR.
- Own P&L performance of the plant and drive profitability through productivity improvement and cost control.
- Develop and implement annual operating plans, budgets and operational strategies.
- Drive capacity enhancement, throughput improvement and waste reduction.
- Ensure production planning, scheduling and material management.
- Implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure HSE compliance and risk management.
- Establish quality systems, SOPs and inspections.
- Lead vendor development and subcontractor management.
- Ensure statutory and certification compliance.
- Lead manpower planning, training and industrial relations.
Manufacturing & Technical Exposure:
- PEB and structural steel fabrication
- Power transmission and telecom towers
- Welding (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, MIG, Arc)
- CNC fabrication, plasma & laser cutting, bending, rolling, press shop
- Painting and powder coating
Education:
- B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
IT Skills: SAP, MS Office
Soft Skills: Strategic leadership, turnaround management, planning, training and relationship management.
