Job Overview:
TheStorage Infrastructure Automation Engineeris a hands-on technical role focused on designing, implementing, and enhancing automation solutions across enterprise storage and cloud environments. This role combines infrastructure engineeringexposurewith strong automation and scripting skills to streamline operations, improve reliability, and scale storage platforms efficiently.
The ideal candidate has solid experience inInfrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and API-driven automation, with a foundational understanding ofSAN, NAS, and cloud storage architectures, and a strong desire to grow into a storage automation expert.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implementautomation solutionsfor provisioning, configuration, monitoring, alerting, and lifecycle management of storage platforms
Drive automation ofday-to-day (BAU) storage operations, including capacity management, performance monitoring, incident reduction, and service requests
LeveragePython, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, andApplied AIto automate manual and repetitive operational tasks
Integrate infrastructure components usingRESTful APIsto enable end-to-end orchestration and self-service capabilities
Support and continuously improveenterprise SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environmentsas partofoperations
Participate instorage infrastructure projects, migration, refresh, and decommissioning activities
Analyze existing workflows and infrastructure to identifyautomation, reliability, and performance improvement opportunities
Maintain and enhanceoperating system templatesand contribute to deployment and configuration automation pipelines
FollowITIL processesfor incident, problem, change, and capacity management to ensure operational stability and governance
Create and maintainDashboards foroperational metrics and KPIsto support continuous service improvement.
Participate in aKanban delivery model, delivering enhancements and automation features through Jira stories and epics
Provideon-call supportas required for storage-related production issues
Apply a continuous improvement mindset to reduce risk, improve resilience, and enhance overall platform reliability

RequiredQualifications:
6+ years of experience in Storage and BackupinfrastructureInfinidat, Pure Storage, Dell EMC (PowerMax,ECS), NetApp.
3+years of experience ininfrastructure automation, scripting, or software development withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)
Hands-on experience with automation tools such asPython, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
General understanding ofenterprise storage technologies(SAN, NAS) and storage networking concepts
Willingness to learn and grow into advanced enterprise storage technologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently anda partof a global team.
Willingnessto learn new technologies and skills quickly.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex issues

Working knowledge ofAgile methodologies(Scrum/Kanban)
