About the role
- Design and recommend procedures related to industrial zoning and urban planning.
- Coordinate with DPIIT/State Government on land-related procedural improvements.
- Provide strategy for development of Industrial Areas/Integrated Industrial Parks.
- Expedite land acquisition and assist in identifying potential projects.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of the Masterplan by coordinating with government agencies.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for land acquisition.
- Draft and implement sectoral policies for the greenfield industrial city.
- Analyze and recommend policies and incentives for urban and industrial development.
- Benchmark industrial policies and services with other states.
- Assist in designing GIS-based land zoning tools.
- Develop modules for land acquisition, industrial zoning, and sustainable development.
