Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced PostgreSQL DBA to join our team. As a PostgreSQL DBA, you'll design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
2. Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
4. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and queries.
5. Implement backup and recovery strategies.
Requirements
1. 3-8 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
2. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.
3. Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance.
4. Familiarity with Linux/Unix and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
1. Experience with cloud-based PostgreSQL solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
2. Knowledge of database security and compliance.
3. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Docker).
