About the role

Background

Lead development for an Oliver Wyman Performance Transformation (PT) Hub, a data analytics application, which utilizes the following technologies:

Cloud Certification:

Must have cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or Google with hands-on experience in developing applications for these platforms.

Core Technical Skills

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to create effective solutions, combined with problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues.
Database Management: Experience with SQL and database management systems for data manipulation and querying.
API Development: Proficient in designing and integrating RESTful APIs for seamless application communication.
Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing application performance through various strategies.

Project Management and Collaboration

Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile development environments for iterative project management.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment, working alongside other developers, project managers, and stakeholders.
Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain clear documentation for development processes.

Development Experience: Over 3 years of experience in development using and/or:

Development Practices

Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for code management.
Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks to ensure high code quality.
DevOps Practices: Understanding of CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Security Best Practices: Awareness of security protocols and best practices for cloud application development.

Design and User Experience

UX/UI Design Principles: Foundation in UX/UI design principles with the ability to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
Data Visualization: Proficient in using Power BI for effective data visualization and reporting.
