Profile Summary:
The Pricing Executive will be responsible for handling pricing activities related to Air & Sea Imports. The role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating with carriers and agents, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze and develop pricing strategies for Air & Sea Imports.
· Negotiate freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
· Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to provide competitive pricing solutions.
· Ensure accurate and timely submission of pricing quotations to customers.
· Maintain and update pricing databases and reports.
· Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to optimize pricing strategies.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers.
· Assist in cost control and margin improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
· Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, specifically in Air & Sea Imports Pricing.
Knowledge & Skills:
· In-depth understanding of pricing mechanisms in the freight forwarding industry.
· Strong knowledge of Air & Sea Imports procedures, documentation, and regulations.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to analyze pricing trends and provide strategic insights.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other pricing tools.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Technical Proficiency:
· Familiarity with freight forwarding software and tools.
· Understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and logistics industry standards.
Additional Preferences:
· Immediate joiners preferred.
· Candidates with prior experience in a similar role will be given priority.
