Principal Manager, Product Management (Legal Tech)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and resourceful product manager to join our Investment Services Technology team, partnering closely with the Legal team, based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. This team delivers technology solutions that support critical firm functions and operational workflows. The role offers an inclusive and dynamic environment, with a focus on improving technology for efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional product management fundamentals, experience in process optimization and workflow automation, and the judgment to operate effectively in a highly confidential environment with diverse stakeholders.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or MBA Experience: • 8 to 12 years of experience in product management, preferably within the financial services industry. • Proven track record of owning and delivering technology products end-to-end from envisioning to launch to maturing the product. • Experience partnering with Legal, Legal Operations, Compliance, Risk, or other control functions to define and deliver workflow-driven solutions. • Experience with workflow automation and process optimization approaches and tools. Skills: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences, and drive decisions through meetings as well as written communication. • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills • Adaptability to changing priorities and effective project management. • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and translate non-technical needs, with proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. • Negotiation: ability to balance various stakeholder needs and reach consensus, with a customer-service mindset. • Understanding of operational workflows in hedge funds and investment management firms (and how processes, controls, and data integrity requirements influence technology design). • Experience with Agile methodologies. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), knowledge of technology and development processes., and exposure to asset management or accounting domain.
