Job Title Product Analyst - Propulsion Systems CAE Structural EngineerJob Purpose The CAE Structural engineer for Propulsion Systems components and subsystems, acts in the support and technical direction to obtain optimized engineering solutions, through the execution of numerical simulations and the application of their knowledge and experience, with regard to structural integrity. Interacts mainly with the Powertrain / Vehicle design and testing teams, working from the early stages of product development to diagnoses of problems and failures.Job Duties andResponsibilities Among the responsibilities of the function, the following stand out: ● Perform analysis and CAE reports of Propulsion Systems components or subsystems, focusing on structural integrity and fatigue ( vibration (harmonic, random added advantage) and thermal field application , working together with the team involved to generate / direct optimized solutions. ● Durability and fatigue assessment of components and subsystems, ● Work in a team with other engineering areas, in order to always include the influences / contributions of the work of other sectors in the work of CAE, and vice versaRequired Qualifications/ Experience ● Bachelor /Masters in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile) ● Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in product development (preferably in the automotive area) working with Structural CAEKnowledge, Skills, andAbilities● Thorough knowledge of the English language including both written and oral communication ● General knowledge of vehicle Propulsion Systems including internal combustion engines, transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries, and eMotors ● Thorough knowledge of finite element methods (linear and nonlinear), strength and fatigue of materials, solid mechanics, dynamics, and vibrations ● Thorough knowledge of ANSA,META, Hyperworks and Abaqus for nonlinear static analysis and dynamic (modal, FRF, PSD), Femfat for fatigue ● General knowledge of CAD and CAE packages , Ncode, MATLAB, NX, Teamcenter, and Solidworks ● Thorough knowledge of Microsoft or Google office products ● Demonstrated capability in problem solvingPreferredQualifications ● Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is preferred) ● DFSS green or black belt certification ● Working knowledge of durability and fatigue testing ● Programming knowledge
