Telecom Billing (CSM , AR, PL-SQL)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner with strong expertise in the telecom Billing domain, particularly in Customer Service Management (Samson CSM), Accounts Receivable (AR), and PL,SQL development. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, driving product vision, backlog prioritization, and successful delivery of billing and revenue management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Product Owner for Amdocs Billing applications, owning product roadmap and backlog.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Drive implementation of solutions across:
- Amdocs Samson CSM (Customer Service Management)
- Samson Accounts Receivable (AR) modules
- Samson Billing & Revenue Management systems
- CTQ,Vertex systems and configuration setup
- Work closely with development teams and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
- Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support production releases.
- Identify process improvements and recommend automation within billing systems.
- Manage stakeholders across IT, business, and external vendors.
Required Skills and Expertise:
Domain Expertise:
- Strong experience in Telecom Billing, Revenue Management domain
- Deep knowledge of:
- Amdocs Samson CSM
- Amdocs Samson AR (Accounts Receivable)
- Billing lifecycle (rating, invoicing, collections, Maps configuration, usage creations)
Technical Skills:
- Strong C, Pro C, Java, PL, SQL development and optimization experience
- Good understanding of database design and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Amdocs architecture and customization
Product & Agile Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst in Agile environments
- Expertise in:
- Backlog management
- User story creation
- Sprint planning
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
- Leadership skills to drive cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Telecom
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO, SAFe PO)
- Exposure to API integrations and microservices architecture
