About the role
OpenFX is hiring its first Product Operations team member. You'll work directly with the Head of Product Operations to refine and scale our Product Operating System, helping a small, high-calibre product team build the cross-border financial infrastructure of the next decade. This is a high-leverage seat. You will be empowered to contribute across product craft, launch motion, AI-augmented workflows, and the insights program that connects the product team to the rest of the business. You will use AI not as something you teach in a workshop but as the multiplier for your own work, and you will help every PM around you do the same. The work is real, and the surface area is wide.
We are also being deliberate about who this role attracts. We treat it as an incubator for ambitious talent. The right person here in eighteen to twenty-four months has working visibility across product, engineering, GTM, and operations at a scaling fintech, and the experience to move into a senior PM, product leadership, builder, or founder role next. If you want to learn how a scaling product organisation gets built and operates at the seams while you do, this is a seat for that.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in Product Operations, Strategy and Operations, or a hybrid senior PM role at a scaled fintech or B2B SaaS.
- You have helped a product organisation raise its standards bar before.
- You are AI-pilled and hands-on with AI tools as a productivity multiplier for your own work.
- You have built agent-driven workflows in a prior role and treat AI as a workflow lever, not a topic for a slide.
- Hands-on experience with Heap or a comparable product analytics platform, plus Linear, Notion, and . SQL enough to validate your own numbers. Either run a Voice of Customer program operationally or partner closely with an Insights or Research lead.
- You handle ambiguity well, work hard in the way builders and senior operators recognise in each other, and have the political range to operate as a peer of senior PMs and Execs without being one of them.
Bonus Experience:
- Direct experience in cross-border payments, FX, stablecoins, or B2B fintech infrastructure is a meaningful plus, not a requirement. We can teach the domain. We cannot teach the operational craft or the systems thinking.
- Comfortable in a globally distributed, asynchronous-by-default operating model. Communication standards matter.
- Prior experience as a founding Product Ops hire at another company, or as the first IC hire scaling a Product Operations function under a Head of Product Ops.
