About the role
Responsible for managing end-to-end paper digitisation projects, ensuring high-quality conversion of physical records into structured digital formats while meeting project timelines, quality, security, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end paper digitisation, scanning, indexing and metadata projects.
- Plan digitisation workflows, manpower, equipment, capacity and project timelines.
- Oversee document preparation, scanning, image enhancement, OCR, indexing and quality control.
- Establish and monitor quality standards, accuracy and productivity metrics.
- Manage and mentor digitisation teams, including supervisors and operators.
- Coordinate with clients/internal stakeholders to understand document types, specifications and project requirements.
- Identify process improvements and implement technology/automation to improve accuracy, turnaround time and cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling, tracking, confidentiality and security of physical and digitised records.
- Monitor project MIS, productivity, quality and operational performance and provide regular management reports.
- Troubleshoot operational and technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Graduate with ~10 years of experience in document digitisation / archival digitization/records management/scanning operations, with demonstrated experience managing large-scale digitisation projects and teams.
