Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Perfomance Test Automation Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber. The candidate should be capable of independently owning automation activities and contributing to framework improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Create BDD automation scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
Design reusable and maintainable automation components using Page Object Model and design patterns.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.
Contribute to automation framework design, enhancement, and optimization.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
Use Git and Maven/Gradle for source control and build management.
Perform API automation using REST Assured or similar tools, where required.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
