Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will focus on electronics and electrical components and be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, goods, and services at competitive prices while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet business requirements for electronics and electrical components. Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
2. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous quality, delivery, and cost improvement.
3. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the electronics and electrical components market. Analyze data to inform sourcing decisions.
4. RFQ/RFP Management: Prepare and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to ensure fair and transparent competition.
5. Contract Management: Manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
6. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings.
7. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality teams to ensure suppliers meet quality standards for electronics and electrical components.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, such as RoHS, REACH, BIS, and UL.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics or electrical industry.
3. Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Proficient in SAP and knowledge of Ariba
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
4. Certifications: CIPS, CPSM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
Nice to Have:
1. Experience in WTG manufacturing or related industry.
2. Knowledge of Lean principles and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
3. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
4. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IEC, IEEE, or IPC.
