Python Automation -Pytest

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in writing automated tests using Pytest. You will play a key role in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure product quality and performance.

• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Pytest.
• Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to ensure high test coverage and quick feedback.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Perform API testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing using automation tools.
• Log defects, track issues, and ensure their resolution.
• Write clear documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest framework.
• Experience in test automation for APIs, web applications, or microservices.
• Familiarity with Selenium, Requests, or Playwright for UI or API testing is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Experience with mocking/stubbing (e.g., using pytest-mock or similar libraries).
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter).
• Experience with Allure, HTML reports, or similar test reporting tools.
• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
