About the role
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python. Build, develop, and deploy applications and backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications. Work with PostgreSQL for database design, query optimization, and data management. Leverage Google BigQuery for data querying, processing, and analytics-related integrations. Develop and manage data integrations between applications, databases, and cloud platforms. Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot. Practical experience developing and deploying applications on GCP. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL queries and database operations. Experience building REST APIs, backend services, and microservices. Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
