About the role
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build and integrate REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write optimised queries.
- Develop and maintain microservices and scalable backend systems.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot performance and production issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI/Flask/Django.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Understanding of Git, testing, and debugging.
- Good understanding of OOP, data structures, and Python internals.
- Exposure to AWS/cloud technologies is a plus.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or other messaging systems.
- Experience working with CI/CD and cloud environments.
