Job Description –
Join a collaborative team to develop new features and enhance existing functionalities for a suite of channel partner software applications. Your work will directly contribute to improving the usability, robustness, and scalability of enterprise-level web platforms for a global technology leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement GraphQL query/mutation resolvers for clinical workflows
- Implement permission-based access control with Strawberry permission classes
- Write async, type-safe Python code with 100% type coverage
- Build resilient HTTP clients with retry logic and exponential backoff
- Transform REST responses to GraphQL types using mapper patterns
- Write comprehensive tests (pytest) with fixtures and mocks
- Maintain code quality standards (ruff formatting, mypy checking, code coverage)
- Debug and optimize performance for healthcare-scale workloads
Required Skills
- 3+ years Python development experience
- Strong understanding of async/await and concurrent programming
- Experience with type hints and strict type checking (mypy)
- Familiarity with GraphQL concepts and APIs
- REST API integration and error handling patterns
- Testing practices (unit, integration, mocking)
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
Nice-to-Have
- FastAPI or Starlette experience
- Healthcare/medical software domain knowledge
- Strawberry GraphQL or other GraphQL frameworks
- Dapr or service mesh architecture
- Azure cloud platform experience
- Dependency injection patterns
