About the role
Requirements:
- Advanced Python proficiency with a strong command of both functional and object-orientated (OOP) programming paradigms.
- Demonstrated experience building production-grade applications with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Strong expertise in concurrency and parallelism, including multithreading and multiprocessing, synchronous and asynchronous programming (e. g., async/await), and designing for throughput, latency, and safe shared-state handling.
- Proven experience integrating with external systems via application interfaces, including: Building and consuming RESTful APIs, authentication/authorisation patterns (e. g., API keys and OAuth where applicable), and reliable integration patterns (timeouts, retries, idempotency, and error handling).
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write efficient, complex queries (joins, aggregations, window functions) and optimise performance where needed.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing concepts or supporting Spark applications (e. g., Spark SQL, DataFrames, performance tuning basics, and partitioning/shuffles).
- BE/B. Tech/MCA/MSc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
