About the role
Requirements:
· 3+ years of programming experience, with a strong knowledge of Python
· Experience developing customization & integration software solutions (use of APIs, connecting applications, etc.)
· Experience with client and server side web technologies (HTML, CSS Javascript, WSGI, Apache)
· Experience with relational databases and SQL (Postgres, SQLite3)
· Basic knowledge of Linux systems and administration
· Demonstrated ability to (1) creatively solve technical problems, and (2) work collaboratively within a team
· Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skills
· Experience working independently with minimal guidance
· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
· Nice to have - experience working with (a) networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.), including virtual routing and software-defined networking OR (b) firewall administration/configuration (Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
