Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and test automation tools, along with a strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Automate regression test cases for web and API applications
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and develop test plans
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Work with REST APIs and automate API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling (optional)
- 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation
- Proficient in any of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of API testing
- Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
- Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in mobile automation testing (Appium, Espresso)
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
