About the role
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in test automation, particularly using Python and Pytest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions, with a strong focus on API automation and CI/CD integration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable automation frameworks, improving testing efficiency, and working closely with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using Python and Pytest.
- Build and maintain API automation suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and frameworks.
- Participate in test planning, execution, regression testing, and defect lifecycle management.
- Use Git for version control and maintain clean, collaborative code repositories.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python-based test automation.
- Good experience developing automation using Pytest.
- Strong understanding of API testing and automation.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory Skills:
- Python - Mandatory
- Candidates without hands-on Python experience will not be shortlisted.
