About the role
1. Offshore Wind Structural Design & Engineering Possess strong knowledge of offshore wind structures, including Monopiles, Jackets, Transition Pieces (TPs), Towers, and Offshore Substations. Ensure structural designs comply with applicable Eurocodes, PED, CE Marking requirements, and DNV/IEC standards. Evaluate structural performance, integrity, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle. 2. Design Review & Verification Review and validate fabrication drawings, engineering calculations, and technical specifications. Assess construction methodologies to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Verify structural details for manufacturability, installation, and long-term operational reliability. 3. Regulatory & Standards Compliance Ensure adherence to European directives, certification requirements, and client specifications. Monitor compliance with CE Marking, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and relevant offshore wind regulations. Support implementation of applicable quality and technical standards throughout design and fabrication phases. 4. Structural Integrity & System Integration Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Systems Engineering teams. Ensure seamless integration between structural components and associated systems. Evaluate interface issues and recommend engineering solutions to maintain overall structural integrity. 5. Certification & Third-Party Coordination Support certification activities with DNV and other certification bodies. Liaise with notified bodies for CE Marking and PED compliance requirements. Address technical comments, design reviews, and certification observations in a timely manner.
