About the role
- Inspect raw materials (Boards, Kraft, Liner, Adhesive, Film, etc.) and finished products.
- Conduct in-process checks during printing/post-printing as per SOPs.
- Prepare COAs, maintain calibration records, ensure traceability.
- Compare customer specs vs actuals; create job files (Artwork, KLD, shade card).
- Support trials of new materials, process improvements, and staff training.
- Prepare shade cards aligned with customer references before dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist in reducing defects through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve quality processes and minimize complaints.
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives and adherence to 5S practices.
- Skills: Sampling, ISO, 5S, 7QC tools, SOP control, Artwork review, Root cause analysis, Customer complaint handling
- Education: Diploma / B.Tech
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in QC within the Printing & Packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of Offset, Gravure, Flexo printing & flexible packaging processes
- Hands-on experience in sampling, testing, reporting, and documentation
- Familiarity with ISO standards, 5S, 7QC tools, SOP control, and artwork evaluation
- Ability to handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions
