About the role
Role Purpose
We are seeking an Automation Tester with strong experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD practices to improve testing efficiency and quality across banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Automate Functional, Regression, and API test scenarios.
- Execute automation suites and analyse execution results.
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in requirement reviews and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop reusable automation components and utilities.
- Support production releases and quality assurance activities.
- Create automation dashboards and reporting metrics.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of STLC, Automation Framework Design, and Test Strategy.
- Exposure to SQL and database validation.
