Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Android (Senior Software Engineer) Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of Android-based solutions for automotive infotainment and embedded systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, perform gap analysis, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Drive the implementation of best practices in SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Provide technical expertise in Linux, C++, and Android platforms, ensuring robust and scalable system architecture. Oversee resource management and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to maintain high standards of software quality and security, including SELinux integration. Engage in the evaluation and integration of automotive electrical systems and technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Work closely with quality analysts to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and regulatory requirements. Document technical specifications, user stories, and test cases using ALM tools. Minimum Qualification and Skills B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. 5 to 9 years of experience in Android development, preferably in the automotive or embedded systems domain. Strong proficiency in Linux, C++, and embedded systems programming. Hands-on experience with resource management, gap analysis, and automotive infotainment systems. In-depth knowledge of automotive technology and electrical systems. Proven experience in SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and ALM tools. Expertise in SELinux and secure software development practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Experience working in the quality analyst industry is highly desirable.
