About the role
- Direct and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the campus, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and utilities to identify safety hazards, structural issues, or necessary repairs.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee external contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets, controlling costs while ensuring all necessary resources are available for facility upkeep.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in facility maintenance, with a specific focus on the education sector.
- Proven track record of supervising maintenance teams and managing complex facility operations in a large-scale environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
