About the role
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst for our Finance division in Bengaluru. The primary role of the Research Analyst is to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to our Finance teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in finance, a keen interest in data analysis and the ability to work with large datasets. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct in-depth research on market trends, company performance, financial indicators, and investment opportunities. 2. Interpret and analyze financial data using various statistical techniques and tools. 3. Develop financial models using electronic spreadsheets. 4. Extract and analyze financial data using SQL and Python. 5. Handle Bloomberg terminal for various financial analysis and data extraction. 6. Present financial insights and recommendations to the management. 7. Prepare regular reports on the findings from the research. 8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver insightful reports. 9. Use advanced Excel features for data analysis and visualization. 10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and challenges in the financial sector. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related field. 2. 2-4 years of work experience as a Research Analyst or similar role in the finance industry. 3. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel. 4. Experience in using Bloomberg terminals for data extraction and analysis. 5. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial modeling. 6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 7. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
