Revenue Accounting Manager

The Revenue Accounting Manager willbe responsible forrevenue accounting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, including ASC 606. This role will lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close processes, perform financial analysis, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Sales, and Legal teams to ensureaccuratefinancial reporting and sound accounting practices. The Revenue Manager will also support audits, process improvements, and strategic finance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close processes, ensuringtimelyandaccuratefinancial reporting. 
  

• Prepare month-end and quarter-end analytical reviews, variance (flux) analyses, and management reports to support financial reporting. 
  

• Research andanalyzecomplex revenue recognition matters and documentappropriate accountingconclusionsin accordance withASC 606 and US GAAP. 
  

• Review customer contracts todeterminetheappropriate revenuerecognition treatment, including billing schedules, deferred revenue, contract assets (unbilled receivables), and related accounting. 
  

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet roll-forwards, and supporting schedules related to revenue and associated accounts. 
  

• Analyzerevenue trends anddirectly relatedcosts,identifyingkey drivers and explaining period-over-period variances. 
  

• Prepare reports, presentations, and financial summaries for senior management. 
  

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance, to ensureaccurateaccounting for new products, contracts, and business initiatives. 
  

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support financial statement audits and SOX compliance activities. 
  

• Identifyopportunities to improve revenue accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency. 
  

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as assigned. 
  

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified CA  with 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting. 
  

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606application. 
  

• Proven experience leading revenue close processes in a fast-paced environment. 
  

• Ability to interpret complex customer contracts and determineappropriate accountingtreatment and disclosure requirements. 
  

• Experience supporting SOX compliance and external audits is preferred. 
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. 
  

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity. 
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions. 
  

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) or SAP is preferred. 
  

• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel. 
  

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. 
  

• Flexibility to workadditionalhours during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close periods, as business needs require.
