About the role
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining PERTs (Program Evaluation Review Technique) based on manufacturing routings. The role involves extracting operational data from routings, structuring and mapping information within the PERT tool, and ensuring logical sequencing of operations across multiple routings and workstations. The engineer will analyze dependencies, identify bottlenecks, and support efficient production planning through accurate process representation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain PERTs based on manufacturing routings.
- Extract and interpret operation-related information from routing documents.
- Implement and configure operation data within the PERT tool.
- Develop logical sequencing of operations across different routings and stations.
- Perform data mapping, structuring, and validation to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze process dependencies and constraints affecting production flow.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production planning, and engineering teams to ensure routing and planning alignment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow optimization and line balancing.
