About the role
Responsibilities:
- Ordering and managing inventory that complies with international trade laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
- Manage the acquisition of goods and services necessary for a company's operations.
- Perform Cargo Planning, Maintain close communication and co-ordination with clients / overseas agents/ carriers/ warehouse etc.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Handling inquiries and requests from regulatory authorities related to import shipments.
- Assisting in the preparation of import-related reports and presentations.
- Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the importation process.
- Communicating with internal departments to provide updates on import activities and resolve any discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Good command of English with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently with good efficiency.
