About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant to join our growing SAP Data & Analytics practice. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise planning and forecasting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.
The candidate should have practical experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and predictive planning solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAC Planning applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions.
- Gather business requirements and convert them into technical solution designs.
- Build planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, and data actions.
- Develop planning applications using Stories, Analytic Applications, and Calendar Processes.
- Configure budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational planning scenarios.
- Create Data Actions, Multi Actions, Allocations, Advanced Formulas, and Value Driver Trees.
- Design planning workflows including approvals and task management.
- Integrate SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with business users during workshops, UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
- Support enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow SAP best practices and governance standards.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning implementation experience.

- Good understanding of SAC security concepts including Roles and Data Access Control.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling and performance optimization.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (Highly Preferred).
- Experience integrating SAC with Datasphere.
- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA data models, Composite Providers, ADSOs, Queries, and Planning scenarios.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
- Knowledge of SQL and SAP HANA modelling.
- Understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have
- SAP BW/4HANA implementation experience.
- SAP Datasphere certification.
- SAC Planning certification.
- Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
- Exposure to predictive planning or AI-assisted planning capabilities in SAC.
