About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Architect with strong expertise in SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes for a global Greenfield implementation project.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Ariba SLP, Contract Compliance, Buying & Invoicing (B&I), and integration with SAP S/4HANA. The candidate should be capable of driving solution architecture discussions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and delivering scalable procurement solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead SAP Ariba architecture and solution design for Greenfield implementation projects
- Design and implement SAP Ariba solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA PTP processes
- Work extensively on:
- SAP Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance)
- Contract Compliance
- Buying & Invoicing (B&I)
- Collaborate with business users, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
- Provide end-to-end integration expertise between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA
- Drive workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and process optimization initiatives
- Ensure best practices, governance, and compliance standards are followed across procurement processes
- Support testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities
- Coordinate with offshore and onsite teams across multiple geographies
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project team members
- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP Ariba solutions
- Proven experience as SAP Ariba Architect in large-scale SAP implementations
- Strong experience in:
- SAP Ariba SLP
- SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I)
- Contract Compliance
- SAP S/4HANA PTP integration
- Experience in Greenfield SAP implementation projects is mandatory
- Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and invoicing processes
- Experience in SAP Ariba integration architecture and middleware concepts
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in global delivery environments
- Experience working with international clients and distributed teams preferred
- SAP Ariba certifications preferred
- Experience in global procurement transformation programs is a plus
- Prior experience working with African or international rollout projects is an added advantage
- Exposure to SAP Business Network and SAP Integration Suite is preferred
