About the role
- Lead SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance initiatives.
- Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
- Manage master data domains including:
- Material Master
- Business Partner
- Customer Master
- Vendor Master
- Product Master
- Finance Master Data
- Lead SAP MDG implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Establish data stewardship and ownership models across business functions.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to standardize master data.
- Define and monitor data quality KPIs, governance metrics, and compliance standards.
- Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and design discussions with stakeholders.
- Support SAP transformation programs, Brownfield, Greenfield, and SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
- Mentor project teams and provide guidance on SAP Data Governance best practices.
- 8+ years of SAP experience with strong exposure to SAP Data Management and MDM.
- Hands-on experience in:
- SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
- SAP MDM
- SAP S/4HANA Data Migration
- Data Governance
- Data Quality Management
- Data Cleansing & Harmonization
- Master Data Lifecycle Management
- Strong knowledge of:
- Material Master Data
- Vendor Master Data
- Customer Master Data
- Business Partner Management
- Product Information Management
- Experience with LSMW, Migration Cockpit, Data Services (BODS), or similar SAP migration tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models.
- Experience in Data Validation, Reconciliation, and Governance Controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- SAP MDG Functional or Technical expertise.
- SAP Data Services (BODS).
- SAP Information Steward.
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- SAP Fiori applications for Data Governance.
- Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, or Semarchy.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP data platforms.
- Agile/Scrum delivery exp erience.
