About the role
We are looking for a powerhouse SAP S/4HANA AVC Consultant/Architect to lead the design and implementation of product configuration capabilities in an exciting S/4HANA greenfield environment. This role is central to enabling configuration-driven sales and manufacturing for highly customizable premium products, including golf equipment and accessories!
Responsibilities:
- Lead Greenfield Implementation: Own the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP AVC within an S/4HANA environment.
- Model Complex Logic: Translate intricate product structures into characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, and constraint-based dependency models.
- Bridge the Legacy Gap: Partner with business stakeholders to understand existing configuration logic in Infor, then redesign and optimise it for SAP S/4HANA.
- Integrate and Optimise: Seamlessly connect AVC with Sales & Distribution (SD) for order configuration and Production Planning (PP) for BOM explosion.
- Design Critical Master Data: Validate configurable materials (KMAT), Super BOMs, routings, and variant pricing logic.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of SAP experience with a heavy focus on Variant Configuration.
- S/4HANA Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) is required.
- Greenfield Background: Direct experience working on greenfield S/4HANA implementations is a must-have.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of characteristics, classes, constraints, procedures, and dependency-driven Super BOM explosions.
- Domain Knowledge: Background in discrete manufacturing or highly customizable consumer goods environments.

- Experience migrating from Infor to SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced dependency modelling and variant pricing expertise.
