About the role
SAP TM LE TRA Functional Consultant
Core Expertise
o Minimum 6-8 years of SAP experience with at least 3 years in SAP TM
o Handson experience in migrating LETRA processes to SAP TM
o Strong understanding of transportation planning execution and freight settlement
Migration Expertise
o Analyze existing LETRA configurations and processes
o Design and implement migration strategies to SAP TM embedded or standalone
o Perform data mapping conversion and validation activities
Functional Design Configuration
o Configure SAP TM functionalities such as Freight Order Management Planning Carrier Selection and Charge Management
o Integrate SAP TM with SAP ERP SDMM and other relevant modules
o Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements
Process Optimization
o Assess current transportation processes and recommend improvements using SAP TM capabilities
o Ensure compliance with global transportation regulations and business requirements
Technical Knowledge
o Familiarity with SAP TM integration with SD MM and FI modules
o Knowledge of master data locations resources transportation lanes
o Experience with SAP S4HANA embedded TM is a plus
Soft Skills
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
o Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities
Preferred Qualifications
o SAP TM certification
o Experience in global rollouts and multicountry implementations
