About the role
We are looking for an SAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP UI5 as the primary skill and SAP OData as a secondary skill.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in developing and enhancing SAP UI5/Fiori applications in the below areas:
- Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and UI5 lifecycle.
- Expertise in UI5 libraries, Smart Controls, Fragments, and Dialogs.
- Experience with OData (V2/V4) and REST API integration via SAP Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with jQuery and AJAX calls.
- Good understanding of Fiori Design Guidelines and responsive design.
- Experience in custom Fiori apps (Freestyle and Extensions).
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based access.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and branch management.
- Exposure to SAP BTP services and deployments (MTAR file build and deployment, basic BTP landscape setup).
- Experience working in Agile projects and handling end-to-end development.
- Experience in consuming and developing OData services.
- Good understanding of integration between frontend (UI5) and backend services.
- Exposure to debugging and performance optimization.
