Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer 1 – Backend with strong programming and problem-solving skills to build and improve backend systems in a fast-paced product/startup environment.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Go, Python, or similar backend technologies and a strong foundation in backend development, APIs, databases, and data structures.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs

Work with Go, Python, or similar backend technologies

Build reliable and scalable production features

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Work with databases and design efficient data access patterns

Debug and resolve technical and production issues

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams

Contribute to improving application performance and reliability

Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment
Must-Have Requirements

1–2 years of software development experience

Strong hands-on experience in backend development

Proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar programming language

Strong problem-solving and coding skills

Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms

Understanding of REST APIs and databases

Good understanding of backend engineering fundamentals

Experience building real-world/production applications

Prior experience in a product-based company or startup preferred
