About the role
We are looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and microservices architecture. In this role, you will design, build, and scale distributed systems while taking ownership across the full development lifecycle from development to deployment and production support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Build and maintain microservices and event-driven systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Ensure code quality through TDD, code reviews, and best practices.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Drive performance optimization, reliability, and system scalability.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Hands-on with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD, JUnit, and Selenium.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack).
- Basic understanding of React (UI layer).
Good to Have:
- Python for automation.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP).
- Exposure to AI/Agent-based systems.
- Experience with high availability and distributed systems.
