About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled SDE-3 (Java Backend Engineer) to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will play a key role in system architecture, mentoring junior engineers, and driving engineering excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, Kafka/RabbitMQ (event-driven systems).
- Hands-on with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc. ).
- Knowledge of System Design, Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Good to Have:
- Experience in high-scale systems (B2C / FinTech / E-commerce).
- Exposure to caching (Redis), search (Elasticsearch).
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns.
