About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native mobile applications.
- Own features end-to-end, from design discussions to production release and monitoring.
- Write scalable, reusable, and high-performance code following best engineering practices.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and optimize app performance.
- Drive architecture decisions for mobile modules and frameworks.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and production troubleshooting.
- Ensure high standards of security, performance, and reliability.
Requirements:
- 4-6.5 years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong experience building production-grade mobile apps at scale.
- Preferably from product-based startups or high-scale product organizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and state management.
- Experience integrating REST APIs/GraphQL services.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization for mobile apps.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Good understanding of Android/iOS native fundamentals is a plus.
- Experience working in microservices/distributed backend environments is preferred.
Good to Have:
- Experience in the fintech/banking/payments domain.
- Exposure to secure coding and compliance-driven environments.
- Experience building apps from 0 to 1 or scaling from early stage to large scale.
