About the role
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, optimized, and working code that can scale.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java or Python, working with databases, APIs, and other server-side components.
- Handle edge cases and ensure reliability, robustness, and performance of the applications.
- Participate in end-to-end deployment cycles, from development to testing to release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA, and others) to deliver features.
- Take ownership of assigned modules and contribute to the team's overall success.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a get-things-done mindset.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java or Python) and familiarity with frameworks like Spring Boot or equivalent.
- Understanding of scalable systems and ability to write production-grade code.
- Knowledge of databases, APIs, and fundamentals of distributed systems.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic CI/CD concepts.
